Designing a 30 × 60

An 8 × 10 open-to-sky courtyard in the centre does three things at once: it lights the middle rooms, it pulls hot air up and out, and it keeps the Brahmasthan open — exactly what Vastu asks for on a deep plot.

With 50 ft of buildable depth you can zone the house front to back: public at the front (hall, pooja), service in the middle (dining, kitchen, stair), private at the rear (bedrooms). Guests never walk past a bedroom door.

The rear setback is worth keeping generous here — it is the only ventilation the back bedroom gets.
